Important Dates:
•Thursday, May 23 - Library books are returned for the year.
All books should be returned on Friday May 24
•Friday, May 31 - Last day to return a Book in a Bag.
•Friday May 31 - last day to register for Summer Library program
We encourage everyone of our first grade students to sign up and
participate in the summer reading program at the library!
Registration in the program is free and open to everyone!
•Downtown Washington Scavenger hunt paper due to Chamber of
Commerce if your child wants to participate. These were sent home
after our field trip.
Book in a Bag - Only 5 more school days of taking home a book in a bag from 1st grade. Finish strong-Thank you so much for making this a priority in your evening. It has made a huge difference in your child's reading progress!!!
Math- Students are focusing on adding and subtracting 2 digit numbers these last weeks of school. We are continuing reading an analog clock by the hour and half hour. Please encourage your child to keep track of the time at your home.
