A Taste of Nations

You are invited to a fun event! The Social Justice ministry of St. Mary’s will be holding its annual fundraiser, ‘A Taste of Nations’ Saturday, June 8, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the parish hall.

The price of admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children, ages 5-12. Sample food from Italy, Poland, Colombia, Venezuela, India, Ghana, the Middle East, Haiti, and the Philippines!  Taste one or all of the cuisines you like! Each country’s selection will include an appetizer, an entrée, and a dessert.  $10 will get you 10 tickets which may be exchanged for food items of your choice.

Additional tickets may be purchased in $1 increments, on the day of the event, if desired. There will be a cash bar.  All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the people and organizations served by St. Mary’s Social Justice Ministry. Your support will enable us to help homeless families in the Worcester area, restore the dignity of poor teenage girls through our partnership with Days for Girls, and continue our efforts to combat hunger through organizations such as Catholic Relief Services.
