Dear Parish Family,
I have some bitter-sweet news to share.
Archbishop Gregory has appointed me to a new assignment.
Starting July 10th, I will be moved to the far, far off parish of St. Jane De Chantal in Bethesda! I will be Chaplain of Suburban Hospital and helping out in a pastoral capacity at the parish.
I will also be the new Archdiocesan Chaplain for Scouting.
Taking my place will be one of our newly ordained Priests.
I have had an amazing two years at St. Elizabeth. I thank you for helping me to continue to grow to be the priest God is calling me to be. I will never forget your love and hospitality you have shown me.
Everyone is invited to a Mass with a reception following on July 7th at 12:15 pm. I hope to see you there!

Life in the Spirit Returns for a Summer Session!
By popular demand, we will offer a Life in the Spirit mini-series this June and July at St. Elizabeth! The Tuesday sessions will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on June 25, July 9 and July 23 in our school auditorium.
This summer session will build on the six-week Life in the Spirit series we offered this Lent. Even if you did not participate in that series, you are welcome to register for this summer session. Each evening session includes dinner, praising God through prayer and singing, a video presentation about our Christian faith, and small group discussions.

Attention Women of St. Elizabeth’s, have you heard of Walking with Purpose?
Does your life feel out of control? Is your life stuck on the spin cycle? Are you challenged living your busy life with inner calm? Beginning June 17th we will offer a Mini-Session Book Study of Lisa Brenninkmeyer’s Book, “Walking with Purpose: Seven Priorities that Make Life Work” and determine together if there is sufficient interest at St. Elizabeth’s for a Walking with Purpose Group at St. Elizabeth’s this Fall. If you interested in joining this program, please register at the link below so that we have sufficient books ordered for this program.
