Café Catholica 2019Café Catholica will be held on July 8, 15, 22, and 29 at St. Michael Church, 1801 Sage Road, Houston, TX
77053.
The night includes confession at 5:15 pm, Mass at 6:15 pm, Dinner at 7:15 pm, and Talk at 8:15 pm. Come for all or part of the night. No registration needed to attend. Donations are accepted.
College Night at Café Catholica: July 15Dust off your old hats, t-shirts, and foam fingers* and join us on Monday, July 15th, for “College Night” at Café Catholica. All young adults who attend are invited to wear an item of clothing from their university or alma mater. All rising college freshmen, current college students, and recent college graduates are especially invited to attend. Come hear Fr. Josh Johnson, the rapping priest, speak about how “The Struggle is Real: Continual Conversion.”

Café Catholica: Connect CornerDuring Café, all young adults are invited to stop by Connect Corner at the narthex of St. Michael Church. Connect Corner will be staffed by seminarians, campus ministers, and Café Team Members who are available to answer questions throughout the night. These could be practical questions (where is the bathroom?) or deeper questions (What is transubstantiation?). The folks waiting there would love to connect; hear about your journey of faith; share some insights with you on topics of theology, faith, and life; or lift you up in prayer.

The Saint Anne Young Adults group will be hosting a Q&A for young adults 21 yrs and older around the Houston area. If you have a question about Catholic teachings that you have always wanted to be answered, come join this session to hear priests and a theology director answer the toughest and most common questions about Catholicism. The session will be held in the St. Basil Hall at St. Anne’s Catholic Community, 2120 Westheimer, Houston, TX.
