Annual Catholic Appeal
Our Parish goal for the Annual Catholic Appeal this year is $194,000. We are going to need everyone's support to make our goal. If you have already given, thank you! If you haven't yet, your participation, regardless of the amount, will make a difference - to you, to us, and to those who benefit from your generosity.As of this week we have received pledges of $137,000 from 311 donors leaving us with $57,000 still to collect. It is important to note that if we do not raise this amount through the ACA campaign we must make up the difference through our ordinary income. Remember, all donations beyond the above goal will return to our parish and be used to replace our Sanctuary floor. Our hope is that this community will show itself ready to help both the local and the larger Church. Our witness, so important, to Catholics throughout this region, relies upon each person's willingness to act as part of this community. To donate online please click here.
Adopt-a-Road July 20th!
Adopt-A-Road Program On July 20th from 9:00 AM - Noon, volunteers will be needed to clean SE 192nd St from 124th Ave SE to 148th Ave SE. This will be a great opportunity to work with fellow parishioners and be a good neighbor to our community. Refreshments will be provided. Many hands will create light work. King County will supply litter bags, traffic warning signs, high visibility vests hard hats and gloves for use during clean-up activity. For this effort, King County will install an Adopt-A-Road sign recognizing St. Stephen the Martyr. Teens with parents are especially invited! St. Francis of Assisi Animal Blessing Thursday July 18, at 7:30 pm
Bring your pets to St. Stephens for a blessing by Fr. Ed in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals.All types and sizes of animals are welcome and should be contained appropriately for the safety of other pets and people (dogs on leashes, cats in carriers, rodents, rabbits, reptiles and birds in cages, livestock in trailers, etc.).
IMPORTANT: No animals carried in arms!
Donations of pet food and supplies will be collected and taken to an area pet food bank for pet owners in need.

Bring your pets to St. Stephens for a blessing by Fr. Ed in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals.
All types and sizes of animals are welcome and should be contained appropriately for the safety of other pets and people (dogs on leashes, cats in carriers, rodents, rabbits, reptiles and birds in cages, livestock in trailers, etc.).
IMPORTANT: No animals carried in arms!
The upper parking lot will be marked off with different zones for different types of pets. Park animal trailers to your right (west) side of the upper parking lot as you enter. Park other vehicles in the lower parking lot and bring your animals to their designated zones on the east side of the upper lot. If your animal has anxiety issues or does not do well with other animals, please leave them in the car and tell a volunteer you need the blessing brought to you.

Pill Bottle 4 Fundraiser for Teens
We are still about $1,000. short of our goal to pay for the bus taking our youth to the Steubenville Youth Conference in Spokane. Reminder: If you have not yet returned their pill bottle and donation please do so this weekend when you come to Mass. Please continue to pray for the participants as they prepare for a special encounter with Jesus at the Steubenville Conference. Thanks so much for your support!
