Future Dates the Office Will Be Closed
With the school year approaching quickly, I am going to be taking a few days in the next couple of weeks to get away with my family and for some of my kids activities. For your planning the office will be closed on the following dates:
Thursday and Friday, July 11th and 12th
Wednesday-Friday, July 17th-19th

Calling All Painters - July 15th & July 16th
We are done painting the new 2nd grade classrooms and the upstairs hallway; this leaves just the downstairs, which we got a good start on today! We are calling all willing and able painters who would like to assist in the final leg of this journey!!
We will be painting next Monday and Tuesday, July 15th and 16th from 830AM- 2PM. We have all the supplies you need, just bring yourself and some old, paint clothes. For anyone interested, feel free to come for an hour or two or pack a lunch and stay the whole day, whatever works for you is very much appreciated.

St. Matthew "free will donation" sale will be held July 22nd through July 24th. All items will be located in the preschool hallway. An example of some items is included below; this is not an exhaustive list, rather used to give you an idea. Come check it out!

Don't forget to put this on your calendar!
7-11AM and 4-6PM
This will provide an opportunity for you to put lunch money in your student(s) account, pay all registration fees, get all paperwork and information for the year, shop the school uniform exchange program, sign up to volunteer, etc. This day allows you to take care of all the paperwork ahead of time!

Meet Your Teacher Day
To help coordinate our Meet Your Teacher Day with the preschool event and to coordinate times with Regis Middle School, we will be opening up the school and classrooms at the following times on Thursday, August 22nd.
11AM - 1PM and 3PM - 5PM
We hope this allows you to combine visits to multiple schools during this busy time of year!

Family In Need Bike Ride, Hosted by St. Pius X ELC
St. Pius X ELC will be hosting a first annual bike ride! The proceeds will be going to a family of the center who is battling cancer. The ride will be July 27th from 9-12. The ride will start at Sag Wagon and will go to Ely. If you would like to participate but don’t want to ride a bike, there’s an option to walk from Sag Wagon to Newbo. The cost is $30 and includes a t-shirt. You may also buy a t-shirt for $20 if you want. All proceeds go to our ELC family. Please contact Connie Schulte at 319-200-4546.
