Good Afternoon,
The 2019 Colossians 3:17 Service Mission was a beautiful endeavor! Alejandra has moved back into her home for the first time since August 17th, 2017. This project entails multiple efforts on many levels and cannot be done without the grace of God alive and well in the hearts and minds of our St. Clare Parishioners. With Christ in our lives as our cornerstone, God has completely changed a stranger’s life for the better. I am proud of so many individuals who stepped up this past year to make all of this come together.
Alexander Sung tragically died in the clock shop he owned and worked at for over 30 years. Alejandra will certainly miss him every day. However, she will be comforted in knowing good people like her late father are still present in this world. Each of you who prayed, contributed, and volunteered made an impact in her life. Even more so, you brought Christ into her life!
The 32 awesome high school teens plus 15 amazing adults who gave their sweat, dedication, and love to this service week remain an exemplary testament of the Gospel alive and well in our community. I cannot thank them enough! As we turn the page and look to 2020, I am excited as ever to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in the next Colossians 3:17 Service Mission!
