Keansburg - Wednesday, August 7

VBS at St Mark’s this year will be having fun with Superheros! And, we’ll be looking at some of the themes that come out of their stories, and pair them with some of the perennial themes of the Bible.The camp runs August 12th through August 16th, from 9AM to 12PM.
On Thursday the 15th we will encourage the kids (and volunteers!) to come dressed as their favorite Superhero–so start thinking about that now!
On Friday the 16th we will be going to a trampoline park to celebrate the week that was past. There is a separate charge for this—$20 per child.

Ross Farm Giving Gardens
We will have a work session every Saturday morning, 9:30-noon, weather permitting, including this Saturday, 8/3.The following week's schedule is as follows - and it's a St. Mark's week!
Monday, 8/5, 9:30am-11:30am
Wednesday, 8/7, 4:30pm-6:00pm
Friday, 8/9, 9:30am-11:30am
We would love to have our teens and young adults join in! And this is a St Mark’s leadership week, so let’s make it a great turn-out for fun fellowship!
Remember to wear gloves, sunscreen and bug spray. Please save your coffee grinds and eggshells and bring them to the garden or drop them in the church kitchen for use in our compost. Great source of nutrients for our plants, and great kid’s project!
Fall Rummage Sale - Sept 13th & 14th - Save the Date
Mark your Calendars, Join the fun.We need significant donations of your unwanted goods. Tell your friends and families of the opportunity to donate to our fundraiser. We also need your help during the week. Every one of all ages can get involved.
Set Up will be Sat, September 7th at 9:30AM.
Sorting and Pricing will be from Sunday, September 8th 1:00 Pm – Thursday, September 12th.
Sale will be Friday, September 13th from 9:00 - 2:00 PM and Saturday, September 14th from 9:00 - 2:00 PM.
Clean Up will be Saturday, September 14th at 2:30 PM.
Please consider volunteering in this important fundraiser in any capacity possible. Signup sheet is in the Link. Let us all help make this Rummage Sale another huge success for St. Mark's.

Saturdays in Somerville
Looking for Volunteers, 9:30-noon on September Saturdays: 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th at the new pantry location the Shiloh Pentecostal Church located at 139 Davenport St., Somerville. We’ll distribute food to folks who aren’t able to make it to the food bank during the week. A Note from the Flower Guild
Our St Mark’s flower guild would love to add a few new members to our team!The duties are not tough: 1) Once each month or so, each member has an assigned Saturday to stop in and arrange a memorial if we have one, and take a moment to water the indoor and outdoor pots. 2) We work together for a couple of hours before Easter and Christmas to beautify St. Mark’s.
