New family mentoring program
We are asking for help from our current families to welcome our new families and help them feel at home. Much like our kindergarten and 1st graders are paired up with older mentors, we would like to pair veteran families with new families entering our school to mentor them, show them the ropes, provide friendship, and help them feel welcome.
If this sounds like something that interests you, please email celkins@cdeducation.org by JULY 26TH. In your email, please provide the age, grade, number, and genders of your children. We will then match you with a family similar to yours for you to mentor this coming school year!
Open House Bakers
We are asking for help providing refreshments for our families during the school Open House! Please see the attached sign up genius and sign up for whichever you would like to bring, sugar or chocolate chip. Please make sure that the cookies you are bringing do not contain nuts. Please drop them off at the table a few minutes before open house begins. You will receive 1 school volunteer hour for providing a baked good.

The St. Francis Preschool still has a few openings in the PreK class! Please sign up soon as spots are limited. Contact Michelle Burd at mburd@cdeducation.org OR call the Preschool Office at 740-345-4040, ext. 361.
St. Francis Sales is hosting a Protecting God's Children session on Sunday, August 11th in the Science Room (2nd Floor Lamy) at 6:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to help meet the requirements for volunteering. Instructions will be provided for offsite fingerprinting.
The Parish Festival is coming up again this summer. What a fun day and a great way to get a jump on earning volunteer hours for next year! We will need people to run games, rides/blowups and other entertainment areas...along with setup and clean-up efforts as well. With our storage area now several miles away...those with trucks and trailers will be sought after.
