Walking with Purpose Bible Studies Begin Soon
We are excited to offer two Walking with Purpose Bible studies at Christ the King this Fall. Discovering our Dignity, will be our Mom's Group Bible study. Discovering our Dignity gives us modern-day advice from women of the Bible. Mom's Group will meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, from 9:00-10:30 AM. starting on August 21st.
Keeping In Balance, will be our evening Bible study. Keeping in Balance will take us on a journey throughout Scripture as we discover the relevance of Old and New Testament wisdom to our daily challenges. Our evening WWP group will meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, from 6:30-8:00 PM, starting on September 11th.

Pro-Life Workshop
Learn how to live out Christ’s love for women in an unintended pregnancy, for unborn children, and for people with a different worldview. Justice For All’s workshop will equip you to have productive conversations with pro-choice advocates and how to respond to common defenses of abortion, all within the context of being a loving ambassador for Christ. This workshop will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, Charity Hall, on Thursday, August 22, 2109 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. A pizza dinner will be served from 5:30-6:00 p.m. Please RSVP at www.jfaweb.org/register or call (316) 683-6426.
Marian Mantle Prayer Group
Join us every Monday at 4:00pm, beginning August 12 or Tuesdays at 8:00pm beginning August 13, in the Adoration Chapel. We pray for lost sheep and prodigals to come back to the church. For more information, call Ralph Ponce at 316-550-1571.
There will be a Welcome Table after each Mass this weekend. If you see someone new at church, introduce yourself to them and invite them to consider joining our parish by stopping by the table.
