Greetings!
It is that time of year again, school has begun for many students, or will in the coming few days. We owe a debt of gratitude for all teachers who have committed their life to the education of young people, and especially in the ministry of character development and discipleship which is preparation for eternity. We thank you.
This coming Sabbath I will be present to share the platform with our teachers, to thank them, have prayer with them, and also the students who will be attending our school. I will also share my personal impact from Adventist Education, and why we invest in the rewards that may not be seen until eternity, but matter in the life of every student.
My sermon this Sabbath is: "Why it Matters", and yes, it does. Period.

School begins this coming Wednesday, August 21st. We invite all families with school-age children to check out our school, and consider enrolling them. If you know of other families with school-age children, praying about where they should be attending school, please ask them to check out KSCS, and our amazing teachers.

Our school renovation is rapidly coming to a conclusion, and the results are stunning. While there have been some unforeseen delays, our crews and contractors have been committed to seeing this project completed and done so with excellence. For all who have shared their time, talent, and treasure to see this project complete, we owe you a huge thank you! Our students are thrilled, and ready for a new year.

We are seeking families who have the financial means to sponsor a student this coming school year. The commitment we would ask for is a determined dollar amount to be given for the next ten months, that will help students attend KSCS who may not otherwise be able to. We are successfully enrolling a number of students now, but there are some who wish to attend but find their finances lacking. If you would like to be a sponsor for a student, please see Sandra Goodrich, Suni Phillips, or Dean.

I will be gone starting August 18th, until September 9th. Jody and I leave for Israel on August 21st, and return September 5th. A couple vacation days will bookend the trip so we can prepare, and recover. Please keep our travels in your prayers.
See you Sabbath. Until then, you can, and I will, expect God to do miracles!
