Want to grow in your faith? Want to help others grow closer to Jesus and His Church?
Become an RCIA sponsor!
We're currently seeking RCIA Sponsors to be a supportive friend for someone who has chosen to become a member of the Catholic Church. RCIA sessions will be on Sunday mornings from 10:15 - 11:45 AM beginning August 24 until the Easter Vigil. Please prayerfully consider this ministry to journey alongside another adult saying ‘yes’ to Jesus and His Church. For more information contact Bernadette Flowers at bflowers@ctking.com or 404-267-3690.
Become an Extraordinary Minister
Next trainings are Tuesday, September 10th and Monday, September 16th from 6:30 - 8:30 PM in Kenny Hall. Recertification, same dates from 6:30 - 7:30 PM.
The Eucharist is a central tenant of our faith and it provides grace and food for the spiritual life. Our Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHCs) see the importance of serving, appreciate taking part in this sacred role, and enjoy serving alongside fellow ministers. EMHCs can choose the Mass times and how often they wish to serve. During the training, we’ll walk you through, step-by-step, on how to serve. To register, visit www.cathedralctk.com/EMHC. If you have any questions, contact Jean Goodwin at 404.664.3627, EMHCtraining@ctking.com.
Become an Lector
Next trainings are Wednesday, September 4th and Thursday, September 23rd from 6:30 - 7:30 PM in the Cathedral.
Lectors proclaim the Word of God at the Mass so that the faithful may discover anew God’s Word, alive in our assembly. RSVP to Andy at asmith@ctking.com.
