Our Lady of La Vang Celebration This Saturday!

All are welcome to join in our parish celebration of Our Lady of LaVang this Saturday, 8/24/19. Our Rosary Procession begins promptly at 4:00 pm in the Narthex and proceeds around the outside of the Church building, finishing in the Grotto where children will dance in honor of Our Lady. Mass is at 5:00 pm followed by a reception in the Narthex and plaza area.  Please bring fruit or a dessert to share in this beautiful Parish Life event. In light of this celebration, Saturday confessions will begin at 2:30 pm.

Sunday, September 15th Will Be a Big Day 

at St. Stephens!

Following the 11:00 morning Mass all are invited to gather at 1:00 out on the front lawns for a Parish Picnic! Bring your own food or buy a hot dog or burger!

 

At 2:30 we move inside the Church for the Doug and Dave Show, an exciting way to learn about the Mass, presented in an imaginative setting, filled with laughter, storytelling and music! MASS CONFUSION will take us away from a strictly academic setting to a comprehensive one that filters through the mind, heart and soul for all

  

Finally, the day concludes with our annual outdoor Mass on the Grass at 5:30 PM!

  

Please note: No picnic after the 5:30 Mass this year.

Men’s Fall Retreat October 11-13

Join Us for this Exciting Retreat Designed for Men! This 3-day event (Friday evening, through early Sunday afternoon; October 11-13) will explore the challenge men face of authentically living their faith in the world today. Annual Catholic Appeal 

We are continuing to make progress!  Thanks to all who have given to the Appeal! As of this week we have received pledges of $182,000  from 417 donors towards our goal of $194,000 leaving us with $12,000 still to collect. If you have not made your pledge, click on the link below to donate now.

If we do not raise this amount through the ACA campaign we must make up the difference through our ordinary income. Our hope is that this community will show itself ready to help both the local and the larger Church.
