Jail Ministry
An opportunity to have Bible study with the inmates at our county jail. We go in pairs on Friday evenings for an hour. Let doubt not hold you back, God qualifies the called. If you're interested or would like more information, contact Jacob (jg965). Orientation with the Sergeant will be coming up soon, which is essential to get an access ID. If you have been involved in the past please check your ID to see when it expires: you will need to attend another orientation to renew your ID if it expires this semester. If you are interested in a similar ministry with incarcerated youth please contact Abrey (aaf87) for more information about ministry in our local juvenile detention centers.
Women's Group
The first meeting of the semester will be Tuesday, September 10th, at 7 pm in the Redlin Room. We meet weekly and grow in faith and fellowship together! (Our weekly meeting time is TBD) Email Abrey (aaf87) with any questions.

Saturday Bible Study
Join us for Bible study at 3 pm on Saturdays in the Redlin Room of ATH. This semester we will be studying the Book of Daniel! Email Sebastian (ss2722) or Richard (rpg78) with any questions or for more information.
New Student Small Group
If you are an incoming freshman or transfer student join the new student small group to grow in faith alongside others who are transitioning to life at Cornell! Email Abrey (aaf87) with questions or to sign up. We will choose a time based on availability.
Grad Group and Bible Study

Graduate Bible Study: Meets weekly (Day TBA based on availability). Each semester we choose a book of the Bible to read together, or a spiritual theme which we explore through readings from the Bible. Contact Elizabeth for more info (

Becoming Catholic
This Sunday 9/8 from 4:30-6 pm in Anabel Taylor Hall Room 314 there will be an introductory meeting for Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). The meeting will provide information on the preparation program for the sacraments of baptism, confirmation, and first communion. Recent participants will be there to answer questions and share their experience with the program. Please contact Matthew Hall (mh968) with any questions.
Pro-life Speaking Event and 40 Days for Life
On Thursday, Sept 19 from 6-7:30 at Immaculate Conception Church, 113 N. Geneva St., Ithaca: Ithaca-40 Days For Life, Ithaca Council Knights of Columbus, and Immaculate Conception Church will host Jim Havens, VP of Mission and Communication for The Station of the Cross Catholic Radio Network, host of "Love Will End Abortion" radio show & author to Ithaca to share his experiences in pro-life ministry. Thomistic Institute: What is Immateriality?
The Thomistic Institute invites you to the first lecture in the "Understanding Consciousness" series on Thur. September 12th from 7-8 pm in the Physical Sciences Building room 120. Therese Scarpelli Cory, the lecturer, is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame, specializing in the thought of Thomas Aquinas and his Arabic sources. This talk considers what immateriality is, drawing on the thought of Thomas Aquinas, and examines why Aquinas thinks that thought is an immaterial reality.
