There is so much to tell about what we have been doing in 1st grade since the first day! This is a truly amazing class to work with. That is why we are getting so much accomplished! We will learn about Buttercup’s growth and life on the dairy farm as well as about the dairy. We will receive pictures and updates twice a month!

We are using Making Reading Heavenly for our phonics and spelling instruction so it may be new to you in how we are practicing.
Next week snack is Emmanuel Atialno.Mr. McBride will sub for me this Friday afternoon as I prepare for the ELL testing. Next week Mr. McBride will be my substitute teacher on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday as I will be at a principal’s meeting and doing ELL testing.
Please read with your child daily or have them read to you. They still love to be read to at this age. Practice makes better.
I am thoroughly enjoying teaching 1st grade. Thank you for this opportunity!
