Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton was Canonized on September 14th, 1975 by Pope Paul VI. She is truly our Parish Saint as she was received into the Catholic Church here at St. Peter's Church in 1805 and earlier in her life lived at 8 State Street- now Our Lady of the Rosary Church and Shrine of Mother Seton. Her Feast Day is January 4th - the anniversary of her death in 1821. A Special Mass on the 199th Anniversary of her death death will be Celebrated by Cardinal Dolan on Saturday January 4 2020 at St. Peters. All are welcome.
