Traveling Holy Hour for Vocations

The Vocations Office is beginning a monthly traveling holy hour for vocations. The next one takes place on Monday, Sept. 23 at 7 pm at the Cathedral of Saint Paul. All are welcome to attend and pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life in our diocese.
Prayer for Vocations
Gracious and loving God, help the
men and women of our parish and diocese to hear the call to serve.
Our needs are great and our people
thirst for your presence.
Open the hearts of many, raise up
faithful servants of the Gospel, dedicated,
holy priests, sisters, brothers and deacons, who will spend themselves for your people and their needs.
Bless those who are serving now with courage and perseverance. Grant that many will be inspired by their
example and faith.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Adult Faith Formation
Our parish offers a variety of adult education programs, speakers, and formation opportunities that strive to nurture the development of mature faith in adult Catholics. These opportunities include: Bible Study, Light of the World Retreats, Small Faith Groups, Speakers, Lenten Mission, and RCIA to name a few. These programs and opportunities (short and long-term) are geared to parish adults who seek to enrich their spiritual lives and to enhance the connections between faith and everyday life.
We are pleased to share with you the fall dates for our Adult Faith Formation. All gatherings will be at 7:00 PM in the Large Meeting Room with facilitator Rita St. Pierre.
9/23 Movie & Discussion- The Soloist: This true-life drama tells the poignant tale of Los Angeles newspaper reporter Steve Lopez (Robert Downey Jr.), who discovers brilliant street musician Nathaniel Ayers (Jamie Foxx), and the unique friendship that transforms both their lives.
