TODAY IS CHIPOTLE DAY! Tell the cashier you're supporting
SFDS and 33% of the proceeds will be donated to SFDS! The official flyer is posted below.
And don't forget, THIS Thursday, September 19, 2019 is Grandparents and Grandfriend's Day -
All Grandparents and Grandfriends are invited for a morning of celebration and fun. Grandparents are encouraged to attend 9 a.m. all-school mass with their grandchildren, then join them in their classroom for light refreshments and a visit with their class. Flyers were sent out with children already but if you missed it, it's posted below.
Parents: Drop-off rule reminder:
Please do not drop off your child from the line and have them walk in the school or to the playground by themselves. Again, if you are running late on a daily basis, please start to arrive at 7:30 - 7:45. The line is much quicker at this time.
Also we see people parking at the Methodist Church which is fine for pick up but please enter through the man gate on Pearl Street along the side of the Church not the car gate on 5th Street. A student was almost struck this week because people are walking through the gates where cars travel. This is not okay.
The man gate is the only gate where our families should be walking through.
Finally, at pick up in the back we will send the students to you. Please do not beep or yell for your child to run to the car. Staff will send them to you. This will prevent cars passing each other to exit. Again this is not safe for our children.
I understand that parking is a bother with the new build but we really need to be cautious at all times for our children's safety. This is just temporary until we have our new beautiful building complete.
Thank you for your part in keeping children safe.

September 12th kicks off our first fundraiser of the school year! We are working with the same company that we've used for Mumkins, however it's beautiful holiday flowers and greenery this year! Packets are due back on September 26th. Envelope needs to be sealed with the sales flyer and any cash or checks inside. Delivery/pickup date will be determined after the sale is completed. Plan on the end of November or first of December until the official date is announced.
Each student that sells at least one item will receive a casual day. The class with the most sales will receive an ice cream party!
