KEEP PRAYING: TRUST IN GOD!
These are the words I keep hearing in my Heart. These are the words I heard while praying at the foot of our beautiful statue of Our Lady of Fatima. You may recall the end of my August 18 column HAVE FAITH: LOOK UP: " I look up to see the face of Our Lady ... and I see her lips moving...and in the silence of my heart, I hear Mary telling me: KEEP PRAYING... I believe that mini-miracles happen every day: Look up! TRUST IN GOD! HE WILL PROVIDE! “To pray is to be aware of the presence of God in our life. To pray is to trust in God and believe that He will hear and answer our petitions. To pray is to trust in Our Lord Jesus Christ and in the Power of the Holy Spirit. provides opportunities for 9th - 12th graders on most Sunday afternoons.
We look forward to working with your son/daughter and family in the year ahead! Together we will help students and families encounter Christ and build relationships through fellowship, prayer, catechesis, service, and sacraments.
Everyone is welcome to join us for our youth gatherings whether or not you attend OLHOC.
We ask that you please register your son/daughter annually (year 2019-2020) so that we have the most updated contact information and we can better serve you and your family!

If you missed the fingerprinting at OLHOC, please contact Nereida Tellechea to get a list of approved locations to do the fingerprinting.
The Archdiocese has recently updated their Child Protection policies and have re-instituted fingerprinting for all adult volunteers (ages 18+), meaning that all future and current volunteers (even if currently cleared under old non-fingerprinting policy) must be fingerprinted unless they have already done so through Virtus. Fingerprinting must be done for all those who serve in the following ministries who have contact with children/youth: CCD/Children's Faith Formation, Youth Ministry, Sacramental Preparation Team (First Communion & Confirmation Team), Altar Servers, Children's/Youth Choir...

The OLHOC Annual Coat Drive is in full swing with cool weather coming! We are collecting new/gently used coats, hats, gloves, etc. for children and adults. Donations may be placed in the box outside of Fr. Martin Hall and will be taken to the Children's Aid Society.
"Sharing Sunday" non-perishable food donations may be left in the designated box outside Fr. Martin Hall. All donations go to the Food Bank of Southern Maryland.
