This is from Beth Guide who is asking for prayers and help for the flood victims in Elm Grove.
Elm Grove has become ground zero for flooding with 197 families damaged in May and we are estimating there are 450 this time, plus about 70 in Mills Branch and 50 in Woodstream, Hunters Ridge, North Kingwood Forest, North and South Woodland Hills respectively.
The word has gotten out and at present we think we are servicing about 400 families daily. Many are ours, but we are getting people from New Caney and Splendora who were hit but don’t seem to have relief efforts set up.
We are in need of volunteers because our residents are manning this. So they could use some man power support.
We are operating out of the Elm Grove Community Center
