Dear Parents,
I hope you are having a good week!
Thank you for all your support during our “Safety Week” this past Sunday in Religious Education. Between the curriculum we covered for the prevention of child sexual abuse and the fire drill that we experienced, I feel that our students are set for a prosperous year. Safety, in all things and all matters, is of the highest priorities in our program.
This week marks the first of our joint parent/child formation classes in Saint Andrew Religious Education. This Sunday, October 6, 2019, after you drop off your child at their school room at 8:45am, we ask that you come up to the Saint Andrew Auditorium for the parent program. We'll have the coffee and donuts waiting for you and you'll be finished in time to pick up your child(ren) at 9:50am.
At this session, you will receive the at-home packets for your child in which you will be given the directions to follow as you review chapters 2, 3, and 4 with your child during the month of October. For those of you who are new to our program, I will prompt you week by week to give you instruction about the schedule and the links to the online reviews that your child will be asked to complete.
If you cannot make this Sunday’s meeting, there will be a make-up session on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 7:00pm in the Social Hall. Please plan to attend at this time.
