ST. MARTHA CATHOLIC CHURCH PLANNING STUDY
Dear Parish Family,
You may be aware that we are conducting a comprehensive survey of the entire church. The purpose of the survey is to help gauge support for our upcoming capital campaign that includes allowing St. Martha’s to fulfill its $2.3 million commitment to the archdiocesan IGNITE: Our Faith, Our Mission Capital Campaign as well as the following parish projects:
- Making the necessary repairs to mitigate flooding at our school
- Reducing or eliminating our debt of $7.7 million
I would like to thank everyone who has already participated in the study. Your thoughts are extremely valuable to us during this planning process. I encourage everyone that has not responded to do so. Your input will help us make an informed decision regarding our plans for St. Martha.
Please share your thoughts by completing the survey online by clicking HERE. Then, click on St. Martha Catholic Church and enter the password Kingwood. Please complete the survey no later than October 28.
God bless,
Fr. TJ

BETA CLUB WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA
The St. Martha Catholic School Beta Club is proud to support Wreaths across America, a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and thanking our veterans for their service and sacrifice. The Wreaths across America mission is to “Remember, Honor, and Teach”. We fulfill that mission by laying a live Maine remembrance wreath upon the grave sites of our fallen heroes. The annual wreath laying ceremony that started at Arlington National Cemetery in 1992 is now performed around the country, including at the Houston National Cemetery. For more information about purchasing a wreath or volunteering to assist with laying wreaths, please click HERE. Beta Club members will also be selling wreaths at the Veterans Day Program on Nov. 11.
