No Children's Liturgy of the Word This Sunday
Because we will be celebrating Baptisms in the Mass this Sunday, there will be no Children’s Liturgy of the Word at the 9:00am Mass.
We look forward to celebrating the Sacrament with the families!
This week after the 9:00am Mass: PREK-5th grade children will go to their Atrium, their parents are invited to come up to the Parish Hall and participate in saying the Rosary. Because Baptisms will be celebrated in the Mass, formation programs will start a little late. Please remember not to leave your child in an unattended atrium! Thank you!
Middle School & High School youth group will meet in the Parish Hall to lead the Rosary this Sunday after the 9:00am Mass. ALL parents, regardless of if you have a student in youth group, are invited to attend and take part in the Rosary. We will have a guide and a prayer for you to lead if you would like to participate. Thank you for your support!

Bring a potluck breakfast item and enjoy wreath making, advent crafts, and enjoy playing Advent Bingo! Let’s open our hearts and prepare together!
We have service opportunities throughout the year for middle and high school youth and parents too!

November 23 (9am to 12:30) Advent Activities Help with setup, hospitality, activities and clean up
December 9, 16 ( 6 to 7pm) Help with Christmas Eve pageant rehearsals and scenery!
December 14 (8am to noon) Help the Knights of Columbus Breakfast with Santa Hospitality & Gift Shop
December 15: (10am to 2pm) Help setup and assist activities for our Las Posadas Party!
December 24: (3:00pm to 4:30pm) Help with pageant before and during our Christmas Eve Mass.
We keep having more fun and more friends every week in our Tuesdays Together program!
Tuesdays Together is a music and movement program for infants, toddlers or preschoolers and their parent/caregiver (and older homeschool children are welcome to come) We meet from 10am-11am on Tuesdays in the large downstairs classroom. We hope this time together can help us get to know other parents and caregivers with young children.
Coming up: Tuesdays Together Halloween Parade. Come in costume or not - but there will be extra fun on Tuesday, October 29!
Diocesan Youth Conference
February 7-9th
The Diocesan Youth Conference registration will be opening soon. If you are in 8th grade - High School, save the date on your calendar now. This is a special fun and faith filled weekend for the youth in all the Richmond Diocese and is conveniently located right here in downtown Richmond. More details will be shared soon!
Confirmand: It is time to register for the Confirmation Retreat.
Please return your paperwork ASAP so that we can reserve your spot. The retreat is $40 and checks/ payment can be made to Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. Thank you!
