DONATIONS FOR CARMELITE NUNS IN NEW CANEY
During this season of Thanksgiving – let us acknowledge the work of the Carmelite Nuns and all prayers and works that they do for us and our church community. They have prayed for many of our personal intentions and those of the community with love and devotion to Jesus Christ, Our Lord, and our Blessed Mother Mary. As a show of appreciation and thanks, let us support them in their mission of love, charity and their dedication to prayer.
In the past, our parish has supported them with an annual Food Drive and Gift cards held at the weekend masses during the month of November. Since the Monastery is for sale, and the anticipated move to San Antonio, the best way to help support them is with a monetary donation and/or gift cards to Walmart, Sam’s, Kroger or Randall’s.
Checks can be made payable and mailed to: Discalced Carmelite Nuns, 1100 Parthenon Place, New Caney, TX 77357 – OR – donations/gift cards can be put in an envelope and dropped in church collection or dropped off at the church office. Thank you for supporting our Carmelite Nuns!
