This week at Life Night we talked about the Book of Psalms and how the Psalms can help us express the full range of human emotion when praying to God. We used song lyrics that the teens are familiar with to get them to thinking about how powerful the words of a
song can be. The teens spent time examining a specific Psalm and were asked to be mindful of praying for others going through that experience. One of the ways the Church continually prays the Psalms is through the Liturgy of the Hours. This is a great prayer to use with your family. There are many resources online to guide praying the Liturgy of the Hours, which come from Psalms and other parts of Sacred Scripture. Here are a few questions to help you discuss the Psalms with your son or daughter:
