Second Collection this weekend. The annual Retired Priests’ Collection this weekend is a major source of revenue through which the Archdiocese is able to provide much needed medical and emergency support for our retired and infirm priest. Thank you for your generous support of our retired and infirmed priests who have dedicated their active ministry years to the tireless care of the Archdiocese.

Wish Upon A Star - It is time once again to think about Christmas and our annual Wish Upon a Star campaign, sponsored by SAM Seniors. This program benefits children served by the Sacred Heart Social Ministry, children who have been helped through our St. Vincent de Paul Conference, and children in foster care.
Gift tags will be available in the narthex following all Masses on the weekends of Nov. 9/10 and Nov. 16/17. Gifts should be returned to the church by Nov. 23/24 and Nov. 30/Dec. 1. This is the 10th year of this campaign, and we are confident the generous spirit of our parishioners will shine through once again.

Thanksgiving Turkey - Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Let your Knights of Columbus handle smoking that turkey to perfection as you enjoy time with family, friends and football. The Knights will be selling their annual Thanksgiving turkeys after each Mass on the weekend of November 16/17 only.
Rehearsals for the Children’s Choir that will sing at the 4:00 pm Mass on Christmas Eve will begin soon! The choir is open to all youth grades 3rd – 8th. We would like to have a choir of at least 50 kids. Come and join us! Contact Tracy in the Parish Office at tracyoliver@stamericigh.com

CALLING ALL QUILTERS AND NON-QUILTERS! We are so excited to start the first EVER, Prayer Quilt Ministry at St. Angela Merici! We are looking for all of our parish quilters and non-quilters to come together and quilt blankets for our parishioners who are ill, so they may be warmed and comforted with this gift, assuring them of our prayers!
If interested, please join us for a meeting on Tuesday, November 12th. We will offer two meetings, one at 10:30am and another at 6:30pm in the Administration Building. Come, join us, form, decorate your Advent Wreath and make your candles with beeswax sheets! It will be a learning experience and an opportunity to go step by step to understand each part of the wreath. All wreaths will be blessed before leaving. All are welcome to join us.
