This Sunday, November 17, we will be discussing the Safe Environment Training required by the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana. This year our plan is to address Cyber bullying (10th grade curriculum) and authentic love, physical attraction and relationships, sexual activity and exploitation (11th grade curriculum). Next year we will address internet safety and predators (9 & 12 curriculum). The goal of these sessions is to provide young people with information in truth and within the teaching of the Church. Also to provide them with a plan of safe adults who they might turn to if a situation arises for themselves or other minors (family or friends). Resources will be brought home as well as resources for you as parents will be provided. If you would like this information prior to Sunday, please contact me. Please complete the information below to help with our record keeping.
If your teen cannot be at the Life Teen Session Sunday, November 17, information will be mailed home and an enclosed form will need to be returned for Diocese's records which are needed for reports to the United States College of Catholic Bishops. Statistics only, not names.
