Calling all first years! The FOCUS missionaries at Vanderbilt have started a program to foster first-year community called ninety-nine. Come to Frassati House on Thursday. November 14 at 8:30 pm for board games and a bonfire!
Fr. Gervan Menezes, Chaplain of University Catholic, is pleased to announce that Nicholas Aguirre (ah-gear-y) has joined University Catholic as Director of Campus Ministry.
Nick is a 2014 graduate of Vanderbilt University, where he had a double major in vocal performance and economics, played free-safety on the Commodore football team and was involved with UCat and FOCUS.
“I am honored and humbled to serve as UCat’s Director of Campus Ministry for the Diocese of Nashville’s Catholic college students,” says Nick. “I experienced firsthand the dire need for Catholic community on campus. There is a burning desire in my heart to share the faith with young people and to encourage and inspire future leaders in the church.”
Nick assumes the Director of Campus Ministry position from Megan Quinn, who resigned to stay home with her newborn son John Paul.
