Who is the liar? Whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Whoever denies the Father and the Son, this is the antichrist. No one who denies the Son has the Father, but whoever confesses the Son has the Father as well. Let what you heard from the beginning remain in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, then you will remain in the Son and in the Father. And this is the promise that he made us: eternal life. I write you these things about those who would deceive you. As for you, the anointing that you received from him remains in you, so that you do not need anyone to teach you. But his anointing teaches you about everything and is true and not false; just as it taught you, remain in him. And now, children, remain in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not be put to shame by him at his coming. (1 John 2:22-28)
I ask myself: Who am I?
I am a daughter of the Father, Sister of Jesus, Temple of the Holy Spirit, Royal priesthood, purchased by the Blood of the Holy Lamb, chosen and destined for
eternal life in heaven.
As a daughter of God, I am given the protection of a loving Father who watches out for me. I will try to remember that today when I am afraid, when I am
confronted by adversity.
As a sister of Jesus. I aspire to be as he is. Not greater, but the best version of me that conforms to him.
As the temple – I will take good care of myself – getting my life in perspective and balance – my spiritual life, my physical life and my mental state.
As a member of the Royal priesthood I need to remember that not one can stand between me and the Father. I have Jesus as my High Priest who has opened the way and counted me worthy to be part of that priesthood, caring for others, offering sacrifices. I need to not forget today that I have God on my side and that Jesus purchased for me eternal life with his death and resurrection. I am chosen to walk this path and to do it to the best of my abilities so that my destiny will be in heaven.
Lord help me to aspire to these truths and to contemplate your majesty in my life.
Show me your paths, teach me your ways.
Jesus came to announce to us that an identity based on success, popularity and power is a false identity- an illusion! Loudly and clearly he says: 'You are not what the world makes you; but you are children of God.

The English language uses one word for "happiness," but did you ever consider that happiness may have different layers or levels? Pleasure, laetus in Latin, is the most basic of instincts. Think: ice cream, linguine etc. It is happiness but doesn't last long. Happiness in heaven, sublimitas, is everlasting. This lesson will discuss all four levels and how to move up the ladder.
