Church Family,
What are you thankful for? As we celebrate our thanksgiving season, I am aware it isn't a joyous occasion for everyone in our church family, as some have suffered the loss of a loved one, or are dealing with difficult situations in life which make thankfulness difficult. But I want to assure you no matter the current situation, we have a Father in heaven who looks on us with love, grace, mercy, and extreme kindness. Nothing we are going through is a secret to Him, and He already has a way provided to take you through whatever you face currently.
If you doubt this to be the case, look in the rearview mirror and see God's providence in the life blessings you already have? You may be amazed at all He has done for you, and this will give you hope for what He can do in your future.
This past Sabbath I spoke of the ten lepers healed (Luke 17:11) and the one who came back to thank Jesus for the miraculous gift of healing. Jesus asked where the other nine had gone, as were they not healed too? In many ways do we not approach life as the remaining healed lepers who never looked back to their benefactor? We have been given so much, and often take it for granted, these amazing blessings.
Take time tomorrow, in-between bites of your thanksgiving meal, football games, and time with family and friends, to ponder the amazing gifts bestowed from our Father in heaven, and the matchless gift of His Son, Jesus, and the Advocate and Counselor we have in the Holy Spirit. By looking back with gratitude, we can look forward in faith and confidence in all God leads us through!

Business Meeting: December 7th, 5P
We have a scheduled business meeting for Sabbath, December 7th, at 5P. There will be a short worship, followed by a business meeting to discuss two issues. Then after our business is completed we will have a party!!!!! Yes, a good ole fashion get-to-know-each other party! Refreshments, board games, and more. Whats not to love? Our new fellowship hall is accommodating, and allows us to gather together as a church family to grow together as friends. Let's take advantage of it!
