Dear SAS Members,
Happy summer! I pray that each of you have had a joyful summer with your precious families! (I almost wrote peaceful, but let’s be realistic, with my kids my house was not always peaceful, but I sure do love spending all my time with them- so it was joy filled!) When I hosted Scripture Study in my house a couple of years ago, it always amazed me how strongly I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit during the time we were all together. Then I realized that each time I am with the moms of St. Anne’s Society my spiritual cup was getting filled. The nourishment I receive from my time with SAS brings me God’s peace and joy. We need each other. We need our community. The Board has been busy planning a wonderful, fun year for us. So, come. Plan to spend your time this year with people who care about you and can travel with you on your spiritual journey.
See you at the general meeting in September!

SERVICE KICK OFF EVENT Supporting the Honduras Mission.
August 19th in the AMR from 4:00-5:30
To support the mission, SAS will be providing a wedding gift to each couple (cross, bible, rosary) and we're prayerfully asking SAS families to contribute money for the wedding gifts.
Each gift is about $50, so we're hoping to collect $25 from 22 families (or any amount is appreciated).
Join us for a fun service project! We are making rosaries for the couples getting married during the Honduras mission trip. All the supplies will be provided. This is a great way for older children to get involved. Younger children are more than welcome, but the rosaries will be more advanced construction so I would say 3rd grade and up. I will have some beads the little ones can play with to make necklaces and such.
What: making rosaries for Honduras mission trip
When: Sat, August 20th 9:00-11:00
Where: Marna Dickinson's house
2 Blue Mesa Ct. The Woodlands 77389
