One of the theme’s of the movie “Miracle on 34th Street” was that some people simply did not believe in Santa Claus. All you have to do is believe!
In today’s gospel passage from St. Matthew (Mt 9: 27-31), we have the encounter with Jesus and the two blind men.
The blind men want to be cured. So Jesus asks then the million dollar question, “Do you believe that I can do this?” Their answer is “Yes, Lord...”
Whenever I meet someone who is going through a difficult time in their lives (i.e. marriage, health concern, or just sadness), I ask them what do you want of God.
They want to be made better! Then I tell them that if you really want this to happen, you must put all your trust in the power of God that He will make you better.
Do you believe?
Believe in the miracle!
