Sunday is known as Gaudete Sunday. The term Gaudete refers to the first word of the Entrance Antiphon, "Rejoice". Rose vestments are worn to emphasize our joy that Christmas is near, and we also light the rose candle on our Advent wreath.
"Gaudete in Domino semper. Iterum dico, gaudete."
"Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, rejoice."
To the Men in our Parish: What are you doing on Saturday morning?
All men of the parish are invited to attend this Saturday mornings men faith, fellowship and prayer meeting in the parish hall from 7-8 am. This Saturday, once again we join together as men of faith to continue our Father Kapaun Stewardshiip Series: From Ordinary to Extraordinary-The Stewardship Way of Life.
Why not break out of the ordinary, perhaps step out of the boat (or sleepy bed), step out into the extraordinary this Saturday morning to explore just what is meant by “A Stewardship Way of Life”.
Hope to see you Saturday at 7 am-like the saying goes “you snooze, you lose”. Don’t lose out on this opportunity to grow in your faith and to find out how to live a “stewardship way” of life.And yes, there will be coffee.

Instrumental prelude music begins at 4:30. Following the welcome announcement at 4:40, the lights will be lowered, and our Children’s Choir will sing until Mass begins.

Prelude music begins at 8:30. Come hear our Choir sing and our Bell Choir ring prior to celebrating Christmas Mass.
