Snow! What excitement!
Two dishpans full of it helped everyone make frost happen!
How? Fill a tin can with snow, add a teaspoon of salt, stir it up, wait & watch the outside of the can! Pretty soon you'll see...frost! We did it!
It would have been fun to do this little experiment outside. However, not everyone had snow boots, mittens , hat etc! :-(
Just a friendly reminder: It would be great to play outside for a while! But children need to have at least boots, mittens or gloves & hats to do so! Be sure to send them with your child! Thank you!
FYI: You may want to check your child's backpack!!
Each child took home the surprise he/ she worked on so hard to create for mom & dad! Remind him/her to sneak it under the Christmas Tree! Thank you!
We will celebrate Christmas with friends in the classroom on Thursday, December 19. The party will be from 10 -11a.m.
Yes, wearing pajamas that day is the "Dress- up Thursday Wear". Let your child decide if he/she is comfortable doing so. I already heard several children comment about the p.j.'s they'll wear!
One more thing....
Dear Parents!
Department of Human Services has a request!
St.James preschool is required to keep a Parental Emergency Consent form in your child's file! - This form is in addition to St.James' consent form you filled out, when you signed up your child to attend preschool.
The form will be on the counter by the sign-in sheet! Please, take a minute to fill it out!
If you do take a form home to do so, be sure to return it filled out by Wednesday! Thank you so much!
