Hello Friends and Fellow Parishioners
At Christmas we welcome so many people into our Church; people that we may see once or twice a year at most. It is so important that we as a community are doing our best to make them feel welcome, loved, and served when they enter our doors. One of the best ways we can do that is by supporting an effective and beautiful liturgy by altar serving and serving as extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist.
This Christmas we are in desperate need of both altar servers and EMs. All masses are in need of help. But in right now the 7pm on Christmas Eve and the 10am on Christmas Day have a particularly urgent need. If you are trained as an EM, or your kids are trained as altar servers, please help us welcome our visitors by volunteering to serve one of the Masses. Email
Marta@stauva.org if you are interested and available.
One final note: Even if you are unavailable to EM or serve, you can make sure our community welcomes our guests with a simple smile and Merry Christmas. Let's make Saint Thomas Aquinas a community in which everyone knows they are welcome. It doesn't take much time or effort. But it might make all the difference in the world to someone.
Peace
