We're off to a good start this year!
We've reviewed two digit subtraction with regrouping the past two days during math. I sent home a mid chapter review today so they can practice this over the weekend. They do not need to return this. We've been reviewing the sounds the letter y makes and they continue to spell new words while understanding open and closed syllables. I sent home the spelling list Thursday. Our test will be next Friday the 10th.
Many thanks to Mrs. Leyva, Mrs. Rost, and Mrs. Atilano for helping and bringing treats for our Christmas Party, and everyone that came to join the fun!
Next week Preston is on the snack schedule.

Science and Social Studies-
During science our class will do some investigations with air and water, and we'll continue our discussion of what responsibilities people have to the environment. I've included a picture of some happy kiddos during the class Christmas Party. Have a great weekend!
