Hello to all,
Your children’s safety is so very important to us. The beginning of a school year is a good time to remind your students to stay safe while walking to school. We don’t have many walkers but this is good information for all students. If your child is walking to school or anywhere in the community, please have him or her walk with a friend or a group. Students should walk without headphones in and pay attention to their surroundings.
If a stranger approaches your child, he/she should walk swiftly away; if your student feels like he/she is in danger, please tell him/her to make a lot of noise to draw others' attention.
There was a reported abduction attempt on West Main Street earlier this week; the student ran from the person, then called police with a description. Please talk to your children about safety as they walk in the community.
Thank you and many blessings!
