Lectors as Ministers
Learning, Discerning and Reflecting
The Lector Ministry helps the wider congregation feel God’s presence. It also steeps the Lector deeper into the word of God as they become more familiar with the readings from the lectionary.
Dr. Suzanne Nawrocki, M.A., M. Div., D. Min., will lead workshop to discuss how the lectionary is arranged and a methodology of reading recommended by the Institute of Analytical Reading.
Current Lectors are invited to reflect and renew their dedication to their ministry. New volunteers are welcome to come explore the Lector ministry and discern if this is the right ministry for them.
