Celebration of Rosemary Center
For over 90 years the Rose-Mary Center here in Euclid continued the ministry of Jesus Christ by nurturing individuals with disabilities and celebrating love, family, dignity and faith within the community. Recently, they are embarked upon a new venture. Over the last year they have been transitioning into smaller living environments for all of the children who currently live at Rose-Mary. They pray that through the guidance of the Holy Spirit they can follow the example of Mary, our Blessed Mother, and proceed to accept change and believe that efforts will be rewarded as they create a new atmosphere of love, family, dignity and faith for our brothers and sisters who have been entrusted to their care.
This means for Euclid, we are losing the Rosemary Center as they transition residents and services to homes and offices throughout our Diocese. Staff from the Rosemary Center will be here on Saturday, September 17 to share how they are making this transition and what the future holds for their ministry. I invite you to come to this special presentation after the 8:30 am Mass in the Upper Hall. A light breakfast will be served. So many of our parishioners have been a part of the ministry over the years we do hope as many as possible can come. Don’t miss out. It is a great opportunity to see how your Catholic Charities donations are being used.

SRW and the Churches of Euclid come together for Celebration, Song and Fellowship
Representatives of SRW Parish have been meeting with members of Euclid’s faith communities for the past several months. Seeing the importance this body plays in the community, Mayor Kirsten Holzheimer-Gail had requested – and organized – meetings for the purpose of support and unity. This has resulted in the committee’s planning of their first Ecumenical Service, being held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm at Cathedral Worship Center, 21601 Euclid Avenue, Euclid (216.738-BLESS - dial one S). The entire community is invited. A free-will offering of non-perishable food and financial donations will be taken and donated to the Euclid Hunger Center. Our parish has committed to providing baked-goods for the social following the event. If you are able to donate an item, please call the parish office at 216.731.1515. You will be able drop off your donation at church the weekend of the event. Let’s gather together as Euclid’s faith community and join in celebration, song, and fellowship.
Catholic Social Teaching
Adult Education Sessions
In the book of Genesis we come to know that God is our creator and the supreme being of all; but he gave us dominion over the earth and asked us to live in community with one another. The Scriptures and rich Tradition of the Church offer some key insights into how we exercise our dominion over the earth while at the same time respecting our role as being God’s children. In this year of the U.S. Presidential election, we felt it would be good to focus on the core teachings of the Church in regard to the following topics. We will not be discussing politics at these sessions, but instead the significant topics of LIFE and how to respect and support each and every person from conception until natural death. We invite you to join us each Wednesday at 6:30 pm in the Church. Please RSVP to the Parish Office or email to

Sunday, September 18, marks the national celebration of “Catechetical Sunday,” a day set aside to recognize and pray for those entrusted with the ministry of forming students in the ways of faith. Join us at the 11:00 Mass as we commission our day school and PSR catechists. After Mass until 1:00, the school will be open for parishioners to see the many improvements completed over the summer as well as share some donuts and fellowship in the gym. Let us show our support to these men and women who, through their own life of prayer and witness, lead others to know Jesus Christ through word and deed.
