Welcome to the Jan. 15, 2020 edition of Just 3 Things, the weekly social action newsletter of the Office of Human Life & Dignity. Here are a few of the important priorities, news and ideas of the week.
Make your voice count! The California legislature is back in session and the California Catholic Conference offers a tool for Catholics to take action on targeted issues, and to stay informed on legislation and legal cases in California and in the nation. Join the Catholic Legislative Network, the public policy education tool of the California bishops. Your email will not be sold or shared and most importantly, the network's alerts keep you up to date on public policy issues from a Catholic perspective.
Archdiocese of San Francisco Restorative Justice coordinator Julio Escobar will be honored as the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Service Awardee at St. Paul of the Shipwreck parish in a ceremony at the 35th annual MLK Jr. Solidarity Mass Jan. 19. All are welcome.
