ekLAYsia Program - Information Session: ekLAYsia is a program designed to empower adult lay Catholic men and women, 18 years of age and older. It provides resources to lay people who feel personally called to participate more effectively in meeting the challenges of Church life today. English Class for Citizenship: The Crosier Fathers and Brothers are offering the next class series for anyone who must pass the U.S. citizenship test and interview in English. It is designed for all adults, especially those with limited English skills. Classes are FREE but donations are greatly appreciated. Participants will receive instruction as well as ample practice in reading, writing and speaking the English language. The additional focus will be on specific material necessary for passing the citizenship test and interview. If you are interested in attending, we ask that register in advance as seating is limited.

Clases de ingles para la Ciudadanía: La comunidad cruzada de Phoenix está organizando su nuevo serie de clases para aquellas personas que deberán pasar la entrevista y exámen de ciudadania en Inglés. Esta diseñada para personas adultas, especialmente para aquellos con un Inglés básico. Los participantes además de las clases tendrán práctica de lectura, escritura y conversación en Inglés. El enfoque adicional de la clase será en material específico y necesario para pasar la entrevista y exámen de ciudadania. Los programas son gratuitos pero las donaciones se agradecen. World Day of the Sick Healing Mass and Catholic Fair: The Order of Malta invites you to join us for a bilingual World Day of the Sick Healing Mass and Catholic Fair in celebration of Our Lady of Lourdes.
Mass will include:
- Anointing of the sick
- Blessing of caregivers’ hands
- Blessing with Lourdes water
After Mass please stay for a Catholic fair and refreshments served in the social hall!
Note: all attendees will receive Lourdes water blessed by Most Rev. Thomas J. Olmsted, Bishop of Phoenix.

The Wondrous Cross: Our Hope for Eternal Life: The Crosier Fathers & Brothers of Phoenix invite you to an inspiring presentation by Fr. Nathan Castle, OP, a nationally renowned Catholic speaker, and author of the book “Afterlife Interrupted.” Through interactive exercises, Fr. Nathan will guide us in reflecting on the power and hope gifted to us by Jesus’ death and resurrection that can enrich our life’s journey. The cost is per person and includes breakfast. Sponsored by the Companions of the Holy Cross.

Catholic Charities: Program Presentation 3 of 4: We invite you to come and learn about some of our programs and services that can help the most vulnerable. The following programs will be presenting: Parents as Teachers, My Sister’s Place and Pathways, Counseling, and Dignity Diversion. We will be ending with a tour of our community center. Our expert staff will share what we do for those we serve, volunteer opportunities available, ways to partner and answer any questions you may have. RSVP online to attend and see you there!
