Celebration of Rosemary Center
For over 90 years the Rose-Mary Center here in Euclid continued the ministry of Jesus Christ by nurturing individuals with disabilities and celebrating love, family, dignity and faith within the community. Recently, they are embarked upon a new venture. Over the last year they have been transitioning into smaller living environments for all of the children who currently live at Rose-Mary. They pray that through the guidance of the Holy Spirit they can follow the example of Mary, our Blessed Mother, and proceed to accept change and believe that efforts will be rewarded as they create a new atmosphere of love, family, dignity and faith for our brothers and sisters who have been entrusted to their care.
This means for Euclid, we are losing the Rosemary Center as they transition residents and services to homes and offices throughout our Diocese. Staff from the Rosemary Center will be here on Saturday, September 17 to share how they are making this transition and what the future holds for their ministry. I invite you to come to this special presentation after the 8:30 am Mass in the Upper Hall. A light breakfast will be served. So many of our parishioners have been a part of the ministry over the years we do hope as many as possible can come. Don’t miss out. It is a great opportunity to see how your Catholic Charities donations are being used.
DONUTS AFTER MASS & SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE
Sunday, September 18, marks the national celebration of “Catechetical Sunday,” a day set aside to recognize and pray for those entrusted with the ministry of forming students in the ways of faith. Join us at the 11:00 Mass as we commission our day school and PSR catechists. After Mass until 1:00, the school will be open for parishioners to see the many improvements completed over the summer as well as share some donuts and fellowship in the gym. Let us show our support to these men and women who, through their own life of prayer and witness, lead others to know Jesus Christ through word and deed.
