Let's Stay Healthy!
'Tis the flu season! In order to avoid the spread of illness to others please stick to these guidelines. Keep your child home me if they
have been medicated for, or exhibit any of the following symptoms within the past 24 hours:- Fatigue or loss of appetite
- Fever
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Rash
- Shortness of breath or has increased wheezing during normal activity.
- Cough that interrupts normal activity - this also disrupts classroom activity.
- Pain from earache, headache, sore throat, or recent injury.
- Drainage (yellow or green) from eye(s.)
Please do not give your child medicine for any of the above and then send them to school
If your child should become ill with anything contagious please let us know so we can look for similar symptoms in others. And remember, a person who is ill, is considered to be contagious until 24 hours after starting an antibiotic and should be kept home until that time unless you have a doctor’s note that states otherwise.
