Dear Parents,
I hope you had a good President's Day Weekend!
Instead of class this week, we invite you to participate in our optional Service Elective of making warm blankets for a local women's shelter. For those who are familiar with crafting, we will be making large "tie" blankets from colorful fleece material. Please plan to stay and help your child with this activity - it can be a little tricky for small hands. Join us in the Social Hall from 9:00-9:50am this Sunday, February 23, 2020.
This week your child is assigned to review Chapter 19 with you using their text books and the at-home packets given to you. When you complete the chapter with your child, have them take the online review found at the link below and then email the results to

Chapter 19 – Online Reviews
We will have our next (and final) joint parent-child session next week, Sunday March 1, 2020. Please plan on bringing your child to the school to meet with their volunteer catechist by 8:45am and then proceed to the auditorium where we will start the parent session at 8:50am. This will not be the final class for your children, but it will be for the parents! We have enjoyed learning with you over the past few months.
Our program has been growing steadily, which means we will need more teachers next year! If you have felt a "nudge" from God to share your faith in the classroom, why not try it out as an Aide during one of our final sessions? Simply reply to this note or email Megan directly at
Megan@standrew.org for a no-commitment volunteer slot.
Have a great week, and God bless!
