Upcoming this weekend: "Catholic Medicine in a Secular Society," with hot topics to be presented including brain death and organ donation, spiritual warfare and emotional self-care for health-care professionals, plus much more. Speakers include noted Dominican bioethicist Father Nicanor Austriaco and Catholic psychiatrist Dr. Cynthia Hunt. Crime survivors retreat for those who have experienced the death of a loved one in a homicide--also this weekend. The Restorative Justice Ministry offers a special retreat for family and friends suffering after the violent death of a loved one.
