For those who had yesterday off, we hope you had a wonderful holiday! We were definitely embracing a feeling of rest and relaxation at Saint Andrew, as you may have noticed our E-bulletin is a day delayed - which also caused a slight feeling of embarrassment!
Perhaps this can be a lesson we take into the week ahead: What do our feelings tell us about our spiritual state? Saint Ignatius encourages us reflect on our feelings throughout the day, as they are somewhat of a sign post, saying, "This is important. Pay attention." For those who have been reading our One Book, One Parish selection, A Simple Life-Changing Prayer, this language may sound familiar. If you missed receiving a copy at mass, please visit the school or parish offices.

The Life of Saint Andrew On Stage
Celebrate the 125th Anniversary of Saint Andrew Parish by attending a one-act play about Saint Andrew which was commissioned on behalf of our anniversary. FIRST CALLED: Andrew of Capernaum will perform in the Saint Andrew auditorium on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 5:30 (after the 4:00pm Mass). Tickets are now on sale. Purchase now!
Bake Sale For
One Heart Uganda
8th graders from the parish are holding a bake sale after the 8am and 10am Masses on Sunday, February 23 to support the the One Heart Uganda scholarship program. Come by the gymnasium to enjoy the sweets and help students in our sister parish in Uganda through the funds they raise!
Come to the Fish Fry
The first of our two Lenten Fish Frys will be Friday, February 28, 2020 in the Saint Andrew gymnasium from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Get your order in advance and save time in line! Order now!
Lent starts next week. As a reminder, Ash Wednesday will feature four opportunities to receive ashes and start Lent off through prayer.
This past weekend at Mass, parishioners were asked to make a commitment to the Annual Catholic Appeal. We heard from Archbishop Blase Cupich delivering the message found in the video below.
Each pledge makes a difference! All parish communities participate in the campaign, and the gifts of many enable our parishes, schools, and ministries to deliver needed services. Thank you for your prayerful consideration and generous response.
