Lenten Preparation Activities

Lent starts next week! Join us for our Lenten Preparation Activities THIS Saturday, February 22 from 10:00am to noon. There will be crafts and preparation activities for all ages, a special Stations of the Cross for children and the ingredients and materials to create a “Lenten Soup in a Jar” for an easy meatless meal on a Lenten Friday! We look forward to being with you. If you can volunteer to help, You and your family will still have time to enjoy activities. Help with setup, clean up, or helping others with an activity.

Calling all PREK - HS families! We have several events coming up where we need your help - please review the different events and corresponding Sign Up Genius and see if you can commit to helping at one or more upcoming Lenten activities! Thank you for your support!

Friday, March 20, 5:30/ 6:00pm to 7:30pm Friday Night Soup Supper and Stations of the Cross Reader

We would love for 6th graders and up to do a reading during Stations of the Cross and we need families to contribute crock pots of soup.

We would love for MS & HS students to help with hospitality and leading a breakout session for elementary students. The youth will still be able to enjoy part of the evening and eat dinner and help. Please look at your family schedule and see if you can join us.

How will you spend your summer? Grab a friend and help with the meal service for the homeless in Richmond through St. Peter's Catholic Church. They serve about 100 men and women every Tuesday for lunch. You can help things run smoothly with helping setup tables, cleaning off trays and serving beverages. We would like one or two VIRTUS trained adults to accompany the kids. Leave from Cathedral at 10:45 am or meet us there at 11:00am. St. Peter's Catholic Church, 800 E. Grace Street.

Vacation Bible School

July 6 - 10, 8:45 to noon.

Climb aboard for mountains of fun at Rocky Railway! On this faith-filled adventure, kids discover that trusting Jesus pulls them through life’s ups and downs. We have games, music, fun songs, snacks, Bible stories and more. Campers are PREK- 5th grade. Youth helpers are rising 6th grade to High School students. Adult helpers are ALWAYS needed too!

Diocesan Middle School Camp

July 20-24, 2020 | Fit for a King

More details to follow on this fun camp for rising 6th, 7th & 8th Middle School students. Rising Sophomores and up and adult chaperone volunteer opportunities!

Our music and movement program for infants to PREK and their caregivers meets weekly on Tuesdays from 10:00am to 11:00am in the large classroom in the basement. It is a wonderful time for fellowship and fun! Join us!
