You might not know this from sparse local news coverage, but federal and state courts in San Francisco are the epicenter of the legal battles being waged against pro-life independent investigative journalists David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt for their covertly filmed Center for Medical Progress videos exposing trafficking in unborn baby parts by Planned Parenthood and others. On Friday, Feb. 21, in California Superior Court, Daleiden and Merritt pleaded not guilty to nine felony counts and appealed the 10th. The charges range from criminal eavesdropping to falsification of documents. Our Melissa Vlach spoke to Daleiden's attorney Peter Breen outside the Hall of Justice.
