- World Mission Sunday • Celebrating Our Missionary Call
- October 22nd & 23rd
- The day the entire world celebrates their missionary spirit by offering what they can for the worldwide Body of Christ.
- An appeal of the Society for the Propagation of the Faith, which supports our brothers and sisters in over 1,150 mission dioceses worldwide.
- This year’s theme, “Mercy … to the Ends of the Earth,” reflects on mission as a corporal and spiritual work that goes to the margins of the Earth to serve the poor and disenfranchised.

- Spaghetti Dinner
- Thursday, October 27th • 4:30 - 8:00pm
- Enjoy a spaghetti dinner with the OLL students and families as they fuel up to prepare for their big day of raking.
- Tickets are $5/person or $20/family.
- There will be a contest for the best pumpkin dessert. All desserts must be in the PACE Center kitchen by 3:00 that day to be entered in the contest.
- Rake-A-Thon
- A fun,OLL community event that provides service opportunities for our students.
- By raking the yards of seniors and/or residents of our community who are unable to do it themselves, students will provide a valuable service while earning support for our school programs.
- Students seek people to sponsor their efforts and there is no charge to the recipient.
- This year’s Rake-A-Thon is Friday,October 28th (weather permitting), with a carb-up Spaghetti Dinner on Thursday, October 27th.

- Blood Drive Results from the Blood Drive at the Mound American Legion on September 22nd
- 53 donors - nine were deferred
- 15 no-shows
- 3 first-time donors with MBC
- collected 51 whole blood donations and 2 double red cell donations, for a total of 55 units of blood.
