Good Afternoon,
We are working with parish and Diocesan leadership to communicate with you about future events including Faith Formation in the coming weeks. Look for something official to come out later this afternoon.
As for Unite tonight. Since it is an optional event and draws less than 100 people on average we have decided, after consulting with leadership at Resurrection, that the event will continue as scheduled. We will encourage good hygiene and "social distancing."
We of course encourage individuals and families to exercise their best judgment when considering whether or not they will be attending Unite tonight. That goes for all our High School Service Trip participants who are scheduled to have a service trip meeting tonight during Unite.
The High School Service Trip meeting that is planned for tonight is simply time for participants to get to know each other better and pray together. We will still gather during the small group time with whoever is able to come. We are dropping the "requirement" that High School Service Trip participants be at Unite... again, please use your best judgement.
We are committed to making this event safe and successful. We also feel strongly that coming together in prayer is one of the best things we can do, and the great thing about that is one can with us unite in prayer from wherever they are. So, if you are unable to join us tonight physically, we understand, and we invite you to join us in prayer wherever you may be.
Let's unleash the saving and healing power of prayer by uniting tonight at Resurrection and wherever else you might be.
Peace,
Zach Rawson
